Bio
My name is Luke Mills, and I'm a Class of 2028 goalie from Brookfield, Illinois. I play for True Illinois 2028 AAA, and I'll be continuing my career at Western Reserve Academy. I love everything about playing in the cage, the pressure, the communication, and being the last line of defense for my team. I take pride in stopping the ball, staying quick and athletic from post to post, and getting our offense going in transition with a fast outlet. I try to lead our defense with my voice and set the tone every time I step on the field.
In the classroom I hold myself to the same standard, carrying a 3.97 GPA, and I'm committed to earning a great education while competing at the highest level of lacrosse. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.

Luke is a Class of 2028 goalie who profiles as one of the top keepers in his class. A fantastic ball-stopper, he's exceptionally quick and athletic in the cage. His footwork lets him get side to side at an elite level and take away every angle. He pairs that with outstanding vision and outlet passing, getting the ball up and out fast to spark transition and create scoring opportunities for his offense. He's just as effective out of the cage, comfortable handling the ball and easily evading riding attackmen when the situation calls for it.
Beyond the saves, Luke is a vocal leader who runs the defense and organizes the unit in front of him, the communicator every coaching staff wants anchoring the back end. College Pathway Network projects Luke as a high-level Division I prospect, with Big Ten, ACC, and Ivy League programs all in range.
