Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle information about athletes, most of whom are minors.

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Recruiting only works if coaches can find an athlete, so parts of what we do are deliberately public. This policy is specific about which parts those are and which information never leaves our hands. Our Terms & Conditions cover the rest of the relationship.

1. Who we are

College Pathway Network ("CPN", "we", "us") helps high school athletes get seen and recruited. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what control you have over it. You can reach us at any time at info@collegepathwaynetwork.com.

2. Information you give us

  • Contact details you send us when you get in touch or book an advisor session: name, email, phone and whatever you write in your message.
  • Account and billing information when you purchase a package: name, email, and payment details taken by our billing provider.
  • Athlete information provided by a family so we can build a recruiting profile: name, photographs, graduation year, sport and position, club and high school, hometown, height, dominant hand, GPA and academic record, intended major, target schools, and highlight film.
  • Anything else you choose to send us, including film, transcripts and correspondence with college programs.

3. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs covering IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. These are used to operate and secure the site.

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and say so here.

4. How the contact form works

Our contact form does not send anything to our servers. When you submit it, the form opens a pre-filled message in your own email program and you send it yourself. That means your message reaches us as ordinary email and is not stored by the website at any point.

5. How we use information

  • To provide the services you have purchased, including advisor sessions, evaluations, target lists and media work.
  • To build and publish an athlete's recruiting profile and highlight film.
  • To present athletes to college coaches and programs.
  • To take payment, manage your subscription and provide support.
  • To answer enquiries and schedule meetings.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. Cookies

When you sign in, our membership provider sets a cookie that keeps you logged in. It is essential, because the member area cannot work without it. Clearing it signs you out.

Pages that embed scheduling or video may allow those providers to set their own cookies when you interact with them. Those cookies are governed by the providers' own policies, which are linked below.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

7. Athlete profiles are public

This is the most important section of this policy, so we want to be direct about it. The whole point of a recruiting profile is that college coaches can find and read it. Athlete profiles on this site are public web pages: they can be viewed by anyone, indexed by search engines, and shared.

A published profile includes the athlete's name, photograph, graduation year, sport and position, club and high school, hometown, academic information such as GPA and intended major, target schools and highlight film.

We deliberately do not publish an athlete's email address or phone number, their home address, their parents' or guardians' names or contact details, their coaches' contact details, or their NCAA Eligibility Center ID. We collect some of that information to do our work, but it stays off the public site.

8. Athletes under 18

Most of the athletes we work with are minors, and we treat their information accordingly.

A parent or legal guardian purchases the program, provides the athlete's information, and agrees to our Terms & Conditions at checkout. In doing so they authorize us to use and share the athlete's athletic, academic, contact, recruiting, photo and video information with coaches, colleges, recruiting personnel, technology providers and service providers involved in the recruiting process. Broader promotional or commercial use of the athlete's image or likeness may require separate authorization. We do not publish a profile for an athlete we have not been engaged to represent.

That authorization also covers contacting the athlete directly by reasonable means such as email, phone, text, video conference and our own platforms, in line with our minor-athlete communication policies.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

A parent or guardian can at any time ask to see what we hold about their athlete, correct anything that is wrong, or have the athlete's profile page removed from this site, and we will act on it. Material already sent to college coaches, and copies held by third-party platforms such as YouTube, are outside our control once shared.

9. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only in these situations:

  • Coaches, colleges, recruiting personnel and others involved in the recruiting process. This is the service you are buying, and it is the point of an athlete profile.
  • Service providers who run parts of the site for us: our membership and billing provider and its payment processor, our scheduling provider, our video host, and our hosting provider. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Event and media partners, where you have purchased an event or media package that involves them.
  • Legal and safety: where we are required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • A successor, if the business is ever sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

10. Third-party services we use

These providers handle parts of the site and have their own privacy policies: Outseta and Stripe for membership and payments, Calendly for advisor booking, YouTube (Google) for embedded highlight film, and Vercel for hosting.

11. How long we keep information

We keep athlete and family information for as long as we are working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can answer questions, honour our obligations and keep proper business records. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. When you ask us to delete a profile, we take it down promptly; backups and records we must retain may persist for a limited time.

12. Your choices

To do any of these, email info@collegepathwaynetwork.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; tell us what you need and we will do our best to honour it. We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you or your athlete.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to remove an athlete's profile page from this site, or to delete information we no longer need.
  • Cancel a subscription, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message.

13. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the member area is gated on the server rather than hidden in the browser, and payment details are handled by our payment processor rather than by us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

14. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as the site and the business change. The date at the top shows the last revision. Material changes, particularly anything that affects how athlete information is published, will be reflected here before they take effect.

15. Contact

Questions, requests or concerns about privacy can go to info@collegepathwaynetwork.com and will reach a person, not a queue.
